Multi Theft Auto: How can I change slots of my Multi Theft Auto gameserver?

To modify the server slots for your Multi Theft Auto gameserver, follow these steps:

  • Access the FTP Server: Connect to our FTP server using the credentials provided from our GSM, under the "FTP" tab.
  • Navigate to the Configuration File: Once connected, locate the mtaserver.conf file in the following directory:

    /serverXXXXX/server/mods/deathmatch
  • Edit the Max Players Setting: Open the mtaserver.conf file and find the following line:
    <maxplayers>32</maxplayers>
    You can change the number of players by adjusting the value within the <maxplayers> tags. The maximum allowed value is 4096.
  • Stop the Gameserver: Before applying any changes, ensure your gameserver is stopped.
  • Restart the Gameserver: After saving the changes, restart your gameserver to apply the new settings.

By following these steps, you can easily adjust the player slots on your Multi Theft Auto gameserver.
