SA:MP: Change RCON password

To change your RCON password, open the file "server.cfg". Please connect to our FTP server for this. You can find the corresponding FTP data in our server management "GSM" under the "FTP" tab. After a successful connection, locate the file "server.cfg" in the following directory:

/serverXXXXX/server/

In the file "server.cfg", you will find the line:

rcon_password changeme

Change the value "changeme" to a password of your choice. Make sure your game server is stopped before making this change. After changing the password, you can restart your gameserver.

Changing the RCON password for your SA:MP server is also possible via our web FTP. To connect to our web FTP, you can conveniently do so through the server management "GSM" under the "FTP" tab.
